I am torn... I really would like to go and see Moldova and the Ukraine, but I know in doing so I will be causing myself to travel pretty far out of the way, and rush through Transylvania, Bucharest, Bulgaria and probably Istanbul as well. There is the part of me that wants to see so much, and the part of me that knows that slowing down to enjoy less places in more detail will be more rewarding.

I know what the right thing to do is, the question is whether or not I will do it.

So, it is 12/04 now, and I am in Transylvania. I decided not to go, and I know it was the right thing to do, as I am still feeling pressed for time, just doing a few days here and there in Cluj, Sighisouara, Sibiu and Brasov... I may need to blow off Bucharest. I don’t want to short change my time in Istanbul.
